Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven professional capable of independently conceiving and also executing on a variety of marketing initiatives and projects for a wide spectrum of B2B technology companies. A dynamic environment will allow you to work independently as well as collaboratively, and display passion for their work. We are holding out for a creative, up-beat, solution-driven teammate to join us. You don’t need to have done it all but rather have a few core strengths and be eager to learn the other areas.

You will be assigned several client accounts who will look to you as their marketing expert who will develop and execute high quality client deliverables that exceed client expectation; completed according to deadlines, SOW and within budget. Marketing projects within the scope of this role include:

  • Strategic marketing, market analyses, positioning and messaging
  • Content, channel and media strategies and plans
  • Brand / digital authority
  • Go-to-Market plans
  • Demand generation / account-based marketing (ABM)
  • Social media marketing campaigns – organic & paid
  • Integrated, cross-channel marketing campaigns
  • Marketing operations, systems and tools management and execution

The marketing account director will conceive go-to-market initiatives, and scopes, plans, develops and executes ongoing marketing projects and campaigns. You’ll be the day-to-day liaison to clients so a high-level of communication is key, providing status updates and identifying scope creep. In those cases, preparing a revised estimate or change orders for client approval in advance of work being done.

As a people manager, you will lead and direct work to drive optimal results and complex project management is crucial to success. The role will be a combination of execution and directing the work of more junior team members. You ’ll be their mentor and coach their growth as a marketing professional.

Requirements
  • A degree in marketing (or similar) plus at least 8+ years of experience in a digital marketing role at a technology company or a digital agency
  • Able to prioritize and direct work to drive optimal results for our clients.
  • Contribute to business development activities with existing clients sharing ideas that will help them grow their business and ultimately expand their scope with the agency
  • Educates themselves on client-related tech and industries by watching webinars, reading white papers, blog posts, media articles and other informative materials; keeps abreast of trending conversations in the technology space by monitoring media coverage, industry studies and commentary, and social conversations.
  • Demonstrated dedication to execute tasks and client projects with wide latitude yet little supervision, owning delivery on client projects.
  • Strategic and tactical proficiency, big picture thinking, ability to frame problems and come up with solutions to surpass client expectations
  • Track-record of sustained, high-quality work in fast-paced environments
  • Leader and mentor to junior team members
  • Familiarity with marketing software including HubSpot, SEMrush, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Adroll and Pardot
  • Proficiency in AI tools to support research, note taking, and information querying
