Internship Term: Fall 2026 (September-December)

Internship Location: On-Site in Indianapolis, IN

Anticipated Time Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week

The Digital Marketing Intern will assist in the creation of marketing emails, mobile app content development and management, general content ideation and game night coverage for a variety of Pacers Sports & Entertainment’s brands (Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Noblesville Boom, Gainbridge Fieldhouse).

We are looking for someone excited to help take our email marketing, mobile app experiences and content ideation to the next level! This position will reside within the Digital Marketing team and collaborate with Ticketing, Customer Insights & Engagement, Brand Marketing and Corporate Partnerships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing messages to targeted customer segments, including information sent to Pacers Season Ticket Holders, Fever MVPs and newsletter subscribers.
  • Assist in developing and implementing content into the official Pacers and Fever mobile apps.
  • Assist in developing fan acquisition programs to grow digital follow and subscriber databases.
  • Assist in general content ideation and execution across brands and platforms.
  • Track, report and analyze email/app KPIs such as engagement rates, open rates, click-throughs, A/B testing results, total revenue, subscribers and more.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrolled in college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • Ability to cope with high pressure situations and fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, with an emphasis on Photoshop, is required.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud, is preferred.
  • Ability to work two to three days in office per week, plus games during evenings and weekends.
