Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Digital Product Manager to join our team. This individual identifies development needs for the Covered and MediaScout products, factoring in customer needs, market development, and growth requirements. Develops and maintains direct communication and feedback loops with IT, Marketing, and internal and external customers. Monitors the content industry to stay abreast of marketing, data, and other industry trends, building them into the product vision and development roadmap. Works closely with the Catalog Services and Sales teams to identify educational opportunities and new service initiatives for customer facing products and services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or year-for-year equivalent experience
  • 5 years publishing or equivalent experience in marketing or similar technology
  • 2 years project or digital product experience

  • Ability to recognize obstacles and challenges, determine cause, and takes appropriate action to resolve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders to identify product development needs.
  • Partners with IT to prioritize the development of the platforms, balancing competing priorities according to the Digital team strategy and vision while also supporting the sales and growth budget targets and customer retention goals.
  • Manages and oversees all tasks associated with the successful development, documentation, marketing, and launch of new products and product upgrades for Covered and MediaScout.
  • Manages key performance indicators for development in partnership with the IT leadership teams, ensuring development progress and throughput meet budgeted and promised goals.
  • Interfaces regularly with key publishers and users to develop a deep understanding of their needs, articulated and non-articulated.
  • Provides analysis and detailed specification requirements for product enhancements to IT that define successful growth of the product to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensures that new and existing development operates smoothly; interacts with other departments to maintain a high level of operational success.
  • Principal escalation point for critical publisher and other customer issues that relate to the performance of the products.
  • Manages funnel for development to include assessing business case, working with the Digital Product Specialist to delegate and manage requirements workload appropriately.
  • Works with Sales to develop innovative product features and solutions.
  • Provides monthly reporting to senior management and stakeholders on product development progress and goals, as well as any market insights and trend reporting from other industries.
  • Speaks and presents as needed at industry events and gatherings.

Hiring Salary Range: $97,201 - $123,251. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
