Job description

The Inventory Marketing Specialist and Content Coordinator position is responsible for creating an exceptional online presentation of dealership inventory by photographing vehicles, managing inventory listings, and promoting inventory across digital and social media platforms. This position plays a critical role in supporting vehicle sales by ensuring inventory is accurately represented, visually appealing, and marketed promptly across multiple online channels for both the assigned dealerships.

The ideal candidate is organized, creative, detail-oriented, and enjoys working both outdoors and in a fast-paced dealership environment. A successful Specialist / Coordinator consistently ensures dealership inventory is photographed and published quickly, accurately, and professionally, helping maximize online engagement, increase customer interest, and support vehicle sales through outstanding digital presentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Photograph new and pre-owned vehicles according to company standards.
  • Capture high-quality interior, exterior, feature, and detail photographs that accurately represent each vehicle.
  • Upload vehicle photos to the dealership's inventory management and dealer management systems.
  • Ensure all online inventory listings are complete, accurate, and updated in a timely manner.
  • Write or edit vehicle descriptions that highlight features and benefits.
  • Verify vehicle specifications, pricing, and equipment prior to publication.
  • Post featured inventory, promotions, and dealership content to dealership social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and other approved channels.
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing teams to promote featured vehicles, special events, incentives, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Monitor online inventory to ensure sold vehicles are removed promptly and new inventory is posted quickly.
  • Organize vehicles for photography and maintain consistent presentation standards, including cleanliness and proper staging.
  • Work with detail and service departments to prioritize vehicles ready for photography.
  • Assist with creating digital content, short videos, and reels for social media marketing when requested.
  • Monitor inventory aging and assist in prioritizing older inventory for additional marketing exposure.
  • Maintain organized records and complete assigned projects within established deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous automotive dealership experience preferred but not required.
  • Photography, marketing or social media experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn dealership software.
  • Basic image and video editing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
