Job description

What You’ll Do & The Impact You’ll Make 

As a Senior Universal Banker, you’ll be the goto financial guide for members. You will:  

  • Lead financial conversations with members to help them navigate everyday banking, major life decisions, and longterm goals. 
  • Build relationships that create lifelong members through trust, empathy, and outstanding service. 
  • Provide expert support on accounts, loans, digital banking tools, and personalized financial solutions. 
  • Mentor and support Universal Bankers, helping elevate the member experience and team performance. 
  • Solve problems creatively, from helping a member improve their credit to guiding them through a big purchase or budget. 
  • Drive branch success through sales, service excellence, and smart decisionmaking.

What You’ll Bring 

  • 3+ years of sales or customer service experience (or related higher education). 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NMLS number
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that reflect Summit’s positive, memberfocused culture. 
  • Adaptability and sound judgment to handle unique daily challenges within established guidelines. 
  • Active listening skills and a commitment to fully understanding and resolving member needs. 
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate proactively with members and nonmembers. 
  • High attention to detail, with consistent followup and followthrough. 
  • Comfort using the Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools. 
  • Basic math skills and readiness to learn more complex financial concepts.
