Job description

The Associate Digital and Technology Product Owner will be responsible for supporting the execution of the strategy as defined by more senior digital/technology product managers for customer-facing technology solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the existing Digital Sales Platform on amfam.com as well as managing the retirement of aged sales platforms. You will participate in the enhancement or development of new digital or technology products, services and customer innovations. You will gather requirements and contribute ideas to the product and set priorities for tasks within defined constraints. You will initially report to the Director, Digital and Technology Product.
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from either Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110

Position Compensation Range:
$69,000.00 - $115,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Primary Accountabilities
  • You will support successful execution against a variety of digital/technology product initiatives across all stages of the lifecycle of a customer-facing technology product, including early product planning, customer research and validation, roadmap planning, product development sprints, piloting, gaining early adopters, product launch, metrics analysis, and post-launch iteration.
  • You will troubleshoot and problem-solve issues found in the customer experience by working with business and technical teams.
  • You will assist in defining product backlog items that ladder up to the strategy.
  • You will ensure the backlog is visible, clear and prioritized.
  • You will support product management and product development efforts and establish and contribute to a unified methodology with your team peers and organizational stakeholders.
  • You will grow knowledge of how and when to leverage design thinking, AI, UX, and other frameworks into the process for a flexible hybrid methodology that fits the team, product, and customer.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of digital/technology customer solutions and practices related to gathering user requirements.
  • Demonstrated display of a strong customer focus and a deep commitment to delivering products that create customer value and delightful experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to show a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive to successfully deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated planning and execution skills.
  • Demonstrated experience being methodical and detail-oriented with experience diving deep and asking the right questions at the right time.
  • Travel requirements up to 10%.
