Job description

Primary Role:
The Commercial Lines Account Executive - Healthcare is expected to contribute to the growth and retention of the commercial lines department by supporting the Sales and Service efforts to physician groups as well as individual physicians. The Account Executive will have extensive contact with the clients and be responsible for retention of the groups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops relationships beyond the Producers relationship with the key decision makers

  • Lead client contact person for marketing/quoting strategy (new/renewal business)

  • Information gathering for marketing

  • Strategic Planning on dynamics of the account

  • Responsible for Client Service Plan deliverables

  • Schedules and leads client meetings should be anything more than email or phone communication be needed.

  • Rounds accounts

  • Communication coordinator: responsible for client awareness

  • Reaches out to originating producer should additional help be needed

  • Makes sure client is aware of resources that HUB offers (minimum annually)

  • Must follow HUB Broker Standards

  • Must follow all processes within EPIC workflows with no exceptions

Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • At least 5-10 years of related experience working as an Account Manager in the commercial lines brokerage arena (equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable).

  • Large Commercial Account Experience required

  • Medical Malpractice experience required

  • P&C License required or able to obtain within 60 days from hire

  • Advanced professional designation preferred (e.g. AAI, ARM, CIC, CPCU)

Communication/Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively customers and teammates.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a big plus.

Math Skills:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power Point; follow guidelines on working in BMS (EPIC) for premium efficiency with your team.
