Position Overview

Harbor Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team remotely. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients and families.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions that include coupleโ€™s therapy and individual sessions with family members, addressing a variety of relational dynamics.
  • Tackle complex issues such as substance abuse, grief and loss, job stress, psychological trauma, and separation/divorce adjustments.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and refer clients to additional resources as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required paperwork within the agencyโ€™s electronic health records system.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with encompass a diverse range, including couples, families facing conflict, and individuals grappling with emotional and psychological challenges. You will specialize in providing care for blended families, addressing issues such as communication difficulties, physical and psychological abuse, adjustment to lifestyle changes, and coping with grief or loss.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Current and active LMFT licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • A deep commitment to patient care and a passion for mental health advocacy.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse family structures, including blended families and those experiencing conflict.
