Position Summary
Provide technical support to operations and execute Manufacturing Engineering activities to develop, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture, which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead-time (SQCD).
What you will be doing
  • Put Safety First - Ensure that all digital solutions meet/support the requirement of Health, Safety & Environmental Standards as well as those associated with Product Safety
  • Identify and develop opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes, digital systems and technologies to meet current or future requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant company, legislative and technical policies and standards including RRMS, SABRe and Export Control and Intellectual Property requirements.
  • Plan and manage activities including schedule, resources and costs, gaining buy-off and communicating to relevant stakeholders. Ensure issues and risks are resolved to meet project timescales.
  • Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve digital manufacturing systems and/or methods which are capable of meeting and continue to meet requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time. Capture, analyze and use data to demonstrate and improve the current and future capability of manufacturing processes.
  • Deploy and implement standardized Digital Manufacturing processes and technologies working across the Commodity and Production lifecycle with Design and Operations functions ensuring business readiness in terms of people and process change to maximize the business benefit.

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree Engineering or Engineering Technology with 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Systems Engineering; OR
  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering or Engineering Technology; OR
  • In lieu of Degree; 6+ years' experience in Manufacturing or Manufacturing Operations in a technical capacity
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience using TeamCenter to author documents and work instructions for use in the manufacturing, assembly and test environments
  • Understanding Digital systems (ERP and/or MES) and how they are integrated into manufacturing operations
  • Experience leading digital changes in the manufacturing, assembly and test environment
  • Experience leading a training course on a technical subject
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes
  • General awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling digital tools used in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Understanding of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Systems Engineering
