Job Description
Working predominately on a major account within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, our ideal candidate would be proven at delivering digital projects and campaigns from website builds (Drupal and WordPress knowledge is ideal) to mobile apps but also has strong knowledge and understanding of what makes those products a success i.e. proven skills in user-experience, reporting, analysis and conversions.
Comfortable with building relationships with clients, the Account Manager would take the role of trusted advisor, juggling multiple stakeholders and projects and capable of giving technical and creative advice. Core responsibilities would be required to work with client to understand their strategic and personal objectives, work with the team to develop well thought through approaches, put proposals and costings together where appropriate, either with own clients or working with an Account Director. Pitching and presenting information to clients would be a requirement of the role also.
As an Account Manager you would be part of the wider Global Client Services team and report to the Senior US lead in NY.
Qualifications
An Account Manager would be expected to have a minimum 3-4 years experience within digital marketing having worked either client-side on project delivery or agency-side with clients.
This is a commercially focussed role so you will need experience in forming relationships, taking ownership for leading account planning to fulfil your clients and the business commercial objectives. Ability to create and deliver well thought through presentations and understand the market conditions which are affecting the industry.
Candidates must have proven experience in guiding digital projects from start to finish, with the ability to financially manage projects and assist with pitches and presentations. All this, whilst providing an impeccable service to the client day-to-day and building and fostering relationships with the in-house design and production teams. They also need to have strong analytical and communication skills.
It would be great if the Account Manager had a keen interest in the exciting growth of the start-up tech sector. They may not have worked in healthcare before and that's OK, but they have an entrepreneurial spirit that can look at the interesting problems to be solved in the health-tech space and provide ideas and inspiration for their clients.
