Job Summary
Develops, manages, and optimizes digital content across internal and external channels in support of company business objectives, brand standards, customer experience, and stakeholder communication needs. Serves as a senior individual contributor with advanced knowledge of digital content strategy, content management systems, web governance, analytics, accessibility, and user-centered content practices.
Essential Functions
  • Leads the planning, creation, editing, publishing, and ongoing governance of digital content across company websites, intranet, email, digital signage, and other digital communication channels.
  • Applies senior-level judgment to translate business priorities, stakeholder needs, and audience insights into clear, accessible, brand-aligned digital content.
  • Partners with Corporate Communications, Marketing, IT, business units, and other stakeholders to develop content plans, manage approvals, and ensure timely publication of accurate information.
  • Serves as a subject matter resource for content management systems, digital publishing standards, content architecture, metadata, taxonomy, and digital channel best practices.
  • Develops and maintains content calendars, publishing workflows, quality control processes, and digital content governance practices to support consistency, accuracy, accessibility, and recency.
  • Reviews and edits content for clarity, tone, grammar, brand alignment, usability, accessibility, search optimization, and channel effectiveness.
  • Analyzes digital performance metrics and user behavior to identify trends, evaluate content effectiveness, and recommend improvements that enhance engagement, findability, and user experience.
  • Leads or supports complex digital content projects, including content migrations, page redesigns, campaign support, digital tool enhancements, and enterprise communication initiatives.
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing to colleagues and content contributors on digital content standards, publishing processes, and channel requirements.
  • Coordinates testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution with IT, web channel partners, vendors, or other support teams to maintain accurate and effective digital content experiences.
  • Monitors industry trends, emerging technologies, accessibility expectations, and digital communications practices to recommend enhancements to company digital channels.
  • Supports crisis, storm, emergency response, and time-sensitive communications by preparing and publishing digital content in accordance with established procedures and business needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including participation in the company's Emergency Operations Plan.

Education Description
Requires a bachelor's degree in computer sciences, a communications area, business administration or a discipline developing communication skills from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a degree, will consider a combination of education and related experience with Web Content Management Systems and Communications totaling four (4) years, where each year of applicable college = 1 year and each year of applicable work experience = 0.5 year. Experience in lieu of education is in addition to the Experience requirements.
Experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital content, web content management, communications, marketing, digital publishing, or a related field, including experience managing complex content projects, applying digital channel best practices, and using analytics to improve content performance.
