They validate new Sitecore components are accessible, functional, and compliant by extensively testing prior to go-live approval and smoke testing after production releases. Supporting the IT Solutions Manager with developing and implementing accessibility compliance processes will be an initial priority. They collaborate with external partners to identify and support documentation needs. Coach CT Paid Leave staff on accessibility remediation and operational processes that keep digital systems running smoothly.\r\nAdditional responsibilities include maintaining IT documentation and leveraging analytics tools and tag management to identify opportunities for improving the digital experience. This role combines accessibility expertise, content management, frontend web knowledge, and cross-team collaboration to deliver a consistent, accessible, and high-quality user experience.\r\nDiscover the opportunity to:\r\n\r\n\r\n Collaborate with external teams to understand what additional guidance they require on our systems. Lead the effort to update documentation accordingly (i.e. knowledge articles, help docs, playbooks).\r\n Support the IT Manager in developing and implementing a plan and processes to maintain accessibility compliance.\r\n Maintain and update the ctpaidleave.org website using the custom components built in Sitecore for CT Paid Leave.\r\n Coach and train staff of all levels on accessibility remediation on videos, documents and PDFs.\r\n Conduct accessibility testing of digital content[BM1.1] updates and provide guidance on how to resolve issues where content is not in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA.\r\n Conduct accessibility and functionality testing of website[BM2.1] programming updates before they are approved for release.\r\n Conduct post release validation. Capture and report on any issues encountered.\r\n Assist the IT Solutions Manager in maintaining IT team processes and procedure documentation in Atlassian.\r\n Enforce digital standards such as accessibility, usability, and branding.\r\n\r\nABOUT THE AUTHORITY\r\n\r\nThe CT Paid Leave Authority is a quasi-governmental agency formed by statute and signed into law by Governor Ned Lamont in 2019.
