Job description

Sr. Project Manager - Digital Banking Transformation

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr Project Manager to lead strategic digital transformation initiatives within a complex financial services environment.

This role will drive the delivery of large-scale digital banking programs, including mobile application enhancements, online banking modernization, and customer-facing digital experience initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned project leader with strong Agile delivery experience, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-level digital transformation projects.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, mid-to-large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Drive Agile project execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among business, technology, product, and operational teams.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, governance processes, and executive-level reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues while ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure projects adhere to established methodologies, best practices, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project performance and provide post-implementation analysis and recommendations.
  • Support initiatives focused on enhancing customer experience, digital adoption, and business performance.

Required

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience, including leadership of large-scale enterprise initiatives.
  • Strong experience managing Digital Banking Transformation, Mobile Applications, Online Banking, or related digital customer platforms.
  • Proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, and iterative delivery methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience leading complex projects across multiple teams and departments.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience within financial services, banking, credit unions, fintech, or highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with digital customer experience initiatives and modernization programs.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
