GENERAL SUMMARYThe Project Manager will be responsible for allocating the right personnel, processes, and resources to ensure team effectiveness and efficiency. The position will work collaboratively with business line leaders to motivate project teams and determine the best operational approach to reach a desired outcome. Manages multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment as well as adapts to project scope changes by placing emphasis on project team involvement and effective communication. Creates and monitors project timelines, ensures that goals are met, resolves any technical issues, and creates progress reports to share with key internal and external stakeholders. Works closely with Sr. Project Manager to escalate issues of concern, which can include project resources, timelines, and engagement to ensure the success of the organization's initiatives.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (in descending order of importance and should be no more than 10, if possible)Plans, organizes, and directs the completion of assigned projects ensuring an effective outcome. Assists internal business partners with requirements gathering process for beginning a new project. Conducts and coordinates internal and external meetings with key stakeholders to achieve desired project outcomes. Takes ownership of all tracking and reporting for assigned projects and initiatives. Ensures the Credit Union's project methodology is followed for key organizational and department projects, including creation and approval of project form, timely completion of assigned tasks within Project Management tool, formal business case and vendor due diligence requirements when necessary. Establishes and builds relationships across the Navigant business lines to facilitate achievement throughout project lifecycles. Guides, mentors, encourages, and directs project team members, while holding team accountable for deliverables, and inspiring them to take ownership and responsibility for their assigned tasks and deliverables.Performs all other duties as assigned by the Sr. Project Manager or FVP, Core & Digital Banking. QUALIFICATIONS:EducationBA/BS in computer science, programming, business or related field preferred. 5+ years' proven experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.Experience/Skills/Knowledge: 3+ years' project management experience required. Strong planning and analytical skills required. Experience with project tracking software preferred. Proven experience with agile methodologies and change control processes required. Must be a strategic thinker who is an advocate of continuous improvement. Strong member service orientation required in alignment with the credit union's mission and core values. Must be able to motivate a team, recognize good talent and bring out the best of each member. Must have strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and product vendors. Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget required. Must have the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Must have the ability to adapt quickly and be flexible with continual changes in projects, product iterations and teams.
