Job description

At Interactive Strategies, we collaborate with mission-driven organizations like the American Lung Association, American Kidney Fund, Rainforest Trust, and Special Olympics—to design digital experiences that spark action and make a difference. These aren’t just projects; they’re opportunities to amplify voices, share powerful stories, and create real-world impact.

As a Digital Marketing & Fundraising Designer, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping how these causes connect with their audiences. Whether you’re crafting bold social media campaigns or producing motion graphics that bring a message to life, your work will help organizations stand out and inspire change. You’ll be part of a thoughtful, collaborative team that values great design and great causes just as much.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Social Media Design: Craft bold, on-brand visuals for social campaigns, paid ads, and social-first storytelling. Your designs will drive engagement and boost visibility for meaningful causes.
  • Email Design: Develop eye-catching email templates and campaign assets that don't just look good, but also drive clicks and conversions. You'll help push the boundaries of what's possible in email design.

  • Collaboration: Partner with creative directors, copywriters, strategists, project managers, and clients to ensure creative outputs are aligned, impactful, and polished. You’ll be a key contributor across concepting, execution, and refinement.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Tackle design challenges with a strategic mindset—bringing fresh ideas to life within established brand systems, while balancing visual appeal, clarity, accessibility, and purpose in every solution.

  • Committed. You’re committed to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • Passionate. You love what you do and are looking to work on a team with that same passion.
  • Curious. You’re constantly seeking out new techniques and approaches to advance your skills.
  • Friendly. You’re a people person who enjoys collaborating and works well with others.

REQUIREMENTS:

We don't necessarily care how long you've been doing marketing design; more important is the passion and talent you bring to the table. With that said, it would be nice if you have the following experience:

  • You have been in marketing design for 2-5 years and can hit the ground running
  • You maintain your own website portfolio with a large collection of inspiring work samples
  • You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and motion tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro
  • You have a sharp eye for typography, color, composition, and design systems
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a growth mindset—open to feedback, iteration, and continuous improvement
  • You have a collaborative spirit and a passion for work that makes a difference
  • You are multi-dimensional. In addition to your design skills, we’d love for you to be great at something else... illustration, typography, motion design, front-end coding,. Show us your stuff!

BENEFITS:
