What are some typical challenges faced by digital animators in a production environment?

Digital animators often face tight deadlines, frequent revisions, and the need to adapt to changing creative direction, which require strong time management and flexibility. Teamwork is essential, as animators typically collaborate closely with storyboard artists, directors, and sound designers to achieve a unified vision. Additionally, keeping up with rapidly evolving animation software and industry trends can be demanding but is necessary to stay competitive. We've built an incredible network of over 400 teachers, coaches, and instructors in New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Now Togetherhood is coming to DC, and we're looking for amazing instructors who are seeking flexible, good-paying, supplemental work, and are excited about having the freedom to use their own lesson plans and curriculum.

  • Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!), prepared with the lesson plan for the day
  • Help children understand why digital animation is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person
  • Togetherhood instructors earn $80 - $120 for each one hour class

Who You Are
A fun, enthusiastic, adaptable instructor, with experience teaching school age children, and who:
  • Has excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
  • Knows how to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Brings your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
