Job description


The Manager for Marketing, Fiscal, and Data Analytics is a pivotal leadership role that will oversee a diverse array of responsibilities to enhance the housing experience for Boston University students while leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence within the department. This position comprehensively creates website graphics and content, digital marketing, and social media to communicate with the residential community effectively. In addition, analyze housing data using tools like Power BI to guide business operational decisions and use SAP to manage and analyze financial data.
Housing Website, Marketing, and Strategic Coordination: Website Content Management and Strategic Development: Create, develop, and maintain the content for the BU Housing website, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and student needs. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the website's effectiveness in supporting residence assignments, customer service, and marketing efforts.
Marketing Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to support housing recruitment, Convenience Points, and optional dining plan sales. Utilize digital marketing and social advertising platforms to effectively promote housing-related content and engage with prospective and current residents. Establish and oversee the implementation of a regular publishing schedule and content editorial calendar to manage all marketing efforts efficiently.
Data Analytics and Strategic Insights: Data GData Analytics and Strategic Insights: Data Gathering, Analysis, and Reporting: Lead efforts to gather, analyze, and interpret data related to housing operations, marketing initiatives, and resident engagement. Required Skills
B.A./B.S. required, Master's Degree preferred, and two years of experience. Familiarity with common website/page layout applications, Power BI, design/presentation tools and fiscal responsibilities in SAP.
