This role is based in either San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, New York, Chicago or Remote 

We are looking for a visionary Senior Manager of AI Search Analytics to define and lead the next generation of agentic search measurement. This person will shape how we understand, optimize, and evolve our digital presence, including traditional web, search, and emerging agentic experiences. You will work with a team of web analysts and partner closely with Web Marketers, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Demand-Gen Ops, and other cross-functional teams to uncover insights that influence LinkedIn's strategic direction. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, operates with autonomy, and can translate complex data into clear business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Define the measurement framework and success metrics for AI Search, delivering measurement recommendations to drive business decisions, enabling the Web Marketing team to assess performance and drive optimization through a consistent and trusted measurement foundation.
  • Drive alignment on KPIs, measurement standards, and reporting practices to ensure consistent performance evaluation and decision-making across teams.
  • Lead the development of new measurement approaches for AI search, including attribution, frameworks, casual measurement methodologies, referral classification, traffic quality assessment and business impact modeling where traditional analytics approaches are insufficient. 
  • Leverage AI and automation to accelerate insight generation and recommendation development, enabling faster, data-driven decisions while ensuring business context and human judgment remain central to interpretation.
  • Partner with the Measurement Strategy team, Data Ops, Web Marketers, Martech, Data Science, and Engineering teams to evaluate emerging measurement technologies and support their integration into the broader analytics ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop approaches for assessing the incremental impact of new experiences and features across agentic journeys, applying advanced methodologies including incrementality testing, causal inference, MMM, and web experimentation frameworks.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in digital analytics, marketing science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience measuring search, discovery, recommendation, conversational AI, or agentic user experiences.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation to enhance measurement, accelerate insight generation, and develop data-driven recommendations, while ensuring outputs are grounded in business context, analytical rigor, and sound judgment.
  • Experience designing and interpreting incrementality tests, experimentation frameworks, causal inference methodologies, or media mix measurement models.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills and able to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Tableau or similar tools
  • Deep understanding of the digital and marketing measurement ecosystem, including incrementality, attribution, and media mix modeling.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic clarity in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with demonstrated success influencing at various levels.
  • A balance of strategic vision and executional excellence, able to deliver both direction and results.
  • Experience with GitHub or similar tool for version control and script collaboration
  • Experience designing and applying advanced measurement methodologies

The pay range for this role is $138,000 to $225,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
