Position Overview

Cumulus Media Dallas is looking for a Senior Digital Account Manager to join our growing digital team. This role is a key part of how we deliver high-quality digital advertising campaigns for our clients across search, social, display, retargeting, and other digital channels. The right candidate is detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once. You will help ensure campaigns are built accurately, launched on time, monitored properly, and supported with clean reporting and strong internal communication.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
What You'll Do
As a Senior Digital Account Manager, you will lead the strategy, setup, execution, optimization, and reporting of digital advertising campaigns. You will work closely with the client, sales, and fulfillment team to make sure campaign details are accurate, expectations are clear, and deadlines are met.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with sales teams during the pre-sales process to develop comprehensive digital strategies, participate in client pitches, and support the onboarding of high-value accounts.
  • Architect and oversee multi-channel digital strategy creation tailored to client KPIs, particularly for multi-location and regional brands.
  • Manage multiple digital campaign projects with strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through.
  • Review campaign details, creative assets, tracking requirements, KPIs, and access needs before launch.
  • Work across internal teams to translate campaign requests into clear next steps.
  • QA campaign information before handoff to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Help ensure campaigns are launched on time and monitored for performance.
  • Proactively flag issues, risks, or missing information before they impact timelines.
  • Pull and prepare campaign data and reporting to support optimization and performance reviews.
  • Identify and recommend proactive account growth, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities based on data-driven campaign performance.
  • Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies, workflow issues, and campaign setup questions.
  • Help improve internal processes to support efficient, best-in-class campaign delivery.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and understands that both speed and accuracy matter in digital advertising.
Ideal qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in digital advertising, account management, campaign fulfillment, or media operations.
  • Google Certified and Meta Certified (Required).
  • Experience managing complex, multi-location accounts (Preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities at the same time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to ask clear questions, identify issues, and determine next steps without needing step-by-step direction.
  • Experience with digital advertising platforms such as Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Campaign Manager.
  • Familiarity with digital channels and KPIs including search, social, display, clicks, impressions, conversions, CTR, CPC, and campaign pacing.
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Asana or Basecamp.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Agency or media experience is a plus.

Pay Range
USD $50,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
