Job Summary
1-2 years experience in ad operations/media trafficking/media planning ideally at an agency. The Ad Ops Analyst will be responsible for digital ad campaign management. The candidate will collaborate with media teams, account teams and vendors to implement and oversee digital ad campaigns.
What You'll Be Working On
Trafficking
  • Obtain trafficking sheet and creative assets for campaign launches
  • Leverage CM360 to traffic creatives to placements, generate tags to send to publishers
  • Request and implement any verification/study/audience pixels from fourth party vendors (IAS, Comscore, Millward Brown, Nielsen, JD Power, Data + Math, etc.)
  • QA all assets to ensure they are to spec
  • QA your trafficking work in CM360 - Pull reporting upon launch at every creative swap/change to ensure campaign has launched and the proper ads have been trafficked
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the ad specs sheet and how it is used
  • Work with various DCO vendors: Innervate, Flashtalking, etc. to traffic dynamic assets according to campaign KPIs
  • Coordinate with vendors, publishers, creative agencies, and internal teams to ensure the timely launch of campaigns
  • Troubleshoot any campaign issues

Floodlights and media tags
  • Work with media planning team to strategize floodlight placement on the websites
  • Generate floodlight tags and work with various dev teams to implement floodlights and vendor pixels onto the appropriate websites and/or implement floodlight tags within Google Tag Manager
  • QA floodlights in staging and live environment to ensure they are firing on the sites by leveraging web debugging tools
  • Pull reports to confirm data is tracking accordingly
  • Implement and QA partner pixels
  • Troubleshoot any floodlight issues

Verification Stewardship
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current partner capabilities relating to verification (brand safety, fraud, viewability)
  • Pull reporting as part of regular campaign optimization and monitoring
  • Continuously work with verification partners (IAS), partners, and planners to help keep brand safety, fraud, and viewability numbers within benchmark throughout campaign flight
  • Update and maintain blocklists, negative keyword lists at a bi-weekly cadence and ad hoc for current events

Management and mentorship (if coordinator is assigned)
  • Manage assigned coordinator under Supervisor's purview
    • Provide training on accounts
    • Delegate and QA their work
    • Provide general mentorship
    • Clear roadblocks in their day-to-day.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Attend all relevant campaign meetings
  • Absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
  • Juggle and prioritize tasks to manage constantly changing timelines
  • Keep open lines of communication to ensure all stakeholders are aware of where you are in your workflow
  • Speedy responses to email - confirm receipt and share a timeline for delivery if the answer is not readily available
  • Act as a consultant for various media teams regarding technology products
  • Monitor and respond to emails in a timely manner
  • Compiling and maintaining IAS blocklist/negative keyword list
  • Create and improve on workflow processes and document best practices when necessary
  • Learn about developing technologies and how they can add value to our clients
  • And other tasks and projects as assigned
