Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Digger Derrick Operator to join our team. The Operator will be responsible for operating various heavy equipment and machinery on a construction site, ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation, and adhering to company safety guidelines. This challenging and rewarding role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Operate digger derrick, heavy equipment, including backhoes, water trucks, and other construction vehicles, as required.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and cleaning equipment, to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct drilling operations, including setting up and operating drilling equipment.
- Dig trenches and holes as needed for construction projects.
- Drive commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and flatbed trucks, to transport equipment and materials.
- Work on a construction site, navigate heavy traffic, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment when necessary.
- Collaborate with other construction personnel to ensure efficient project completion.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment.
