We are seeking a Diesel Maintenance Technician for our Conyers, GA facility. Are you energetic, highly motivated and well organized, a self-starter with a strong commitment to safety? Are you a strong team player with the ability to work well with fellow mechanics / drivers / operations personnel? If this describes you, then we want you on our TEAM!
The Conyers facility produces liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and also distributes Bulk Hydrogen. The facility supplies the merchant market within the Southeastern region of the U.S. via our liquid and bulk gas fleet. The position reports to the Conyers Distribution Supervisor and is responsible for the maintenance of company owned tractors and tanker trailers.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as necessary on tractors and tanker trailers•
  • Document/record work performed electronically on computer-based maintenance system
  • Perform road repairs when necessary
  • Perform electrical/electronic repairs on tractor and trailers
  • Gas and electrical welding experience preferred

Qualifications
  • High School diploma/equivalent
  • 1-3 years vehicle maintenance experience
  • Mechanical background, with above average computer experience/skills
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits
  • Troubleshooting and repair experience a plus
  • Welding knowledge and experience a plus
  • Energetic, highly motivated and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety
  • Strong team player with ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel
  • Solid work history

Technical School Graduates: Students with a background in Industrial Systems, Machine Tool Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, HVAC, Process Technology, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation Technology are encouraged to apply.
