Requirements:

  • CAT diesel and gas generators (5KW to 2MEG)
  • Control panels and electrical distribution systems
  • Perform load bank testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance
  • Use diagnostic tools (e.g., CAT ET - Electronic Technician), SIS (Service Information System), and other computer-based diagnostic tools/software) to troubleshooting issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards
  • Knowledge of automatic transfer switches and control logic
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing emergency repair procedures of AC/DC controls
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing gas and diesel industrial engines
  • Reading and understanding wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Working independently with minimal daily supervision
  • Working in a safe manner at all times
  • Minimum of 5 years of heavy machinery
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check

Qualifications

One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school; Minimum five plus year's of CAT dealer experience and five year's power equipment industry experience or equivalent education and experience.
