Job description

The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida is currently looking to fill the position of Diesel Generator Mechanic. This is a full-time position available in the Generator Mechanics department for an experienced Generator Mechanic. The Generator Mechanic will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks to include inspecting, maintaining, repairing and modifying diesel electric generating equipment. Work includes but is not limited to servicing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engine driven electric generators and related equipment; perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing oil & filters, replacing belts and hoses, and cleaning components; maintaining a weekly report of servicing and repairs performed. Must be dependable, reliable and a team player. Prior experience working on generators is a must. Must have a valid driver’s license.
