Job description

Coastal Service & Supply has been serving the Tampa Bay area since 1982 and we are looking to add a Field Service Technician to join our team! We service, repair, and replace generators, fire pumps, and domestic boost pump systems for residential condos, businesses, sports facilities, and large commercial properties.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems, fire pumps, and domestic boost pump systems.
  • Perform basic Troubleshooting and repair on gaseous and diesel engines.
  • Troubleshoot basic AC electrical issues.
  • Perform routine generator maintenance to include oil and filter change, fuel filter change, and cooling system services.
  • Troubleshoot issues with fuel systems.
  • Work with customers on a one-on-one basis.
  • Complete and submit work orders and reports.
  • Work & Train with other Team Members.
  • Maintain truck inventory.


PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years relatable work experience.
  • Vo-tech school or Military training, a plus.
  • Diesel engine experience is preferred.
  • Training on Automatic Transfer Switches, a plus but not necessary.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
