Job description

Job Title: Quality Engineer (QE) / ATM Tester

Work Location: Onsite at customer location in Buffalo, NY.

Availability to work directly with customer and engineering teams during testing activities.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (QE) to support onsite testing of our SR Recycler solution at a customer location in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ATM cash recycler hardware, a strong understanding of the XFS framework, and expertise in testing recycler functionality integrated with the Diebold application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end functional and integration testing of the SR Recycler at the customer site.
  • Validate recycler functionality with the Diebold application.
  • Execute test cases, document test results, and report defects.
  • Verify hardware-software integration and troubleshoot issues involving the recycler and peripheral devices.
  • Work closely with development, hardware, and customer teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Support customer acceptance testing and provide detailed test reports.
  • Ensure testing is completed in accordance with quality standards and project timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Quality Engineering/Software Testing.
  • Hands-on experience testing ATM Cash Recyclers (SR Recycler preferred).
  • Good understanding of the XFS (Extensions for Financial Services) framework.
  • Experience working with ATM hardware, including cash recyclers and related peripherals.
  • Experience testing with Diebold ATM applications/software.
  • Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues, and reproduce defects.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with banking or self-service terminal environments.
  • Familiarity with ATM device drivers and middleware.
  • Experience supporting onsite customer testing and UAT activities.
