PDF Seal produces pre-die cut lids to seal cups and trays for both consumer and food service packaged products. JOB DESCRIPTION:
PDF Seal is searching for a Die Cutting Operator for 2nd shift to contribute to the success of our production of foil lids at our facility in Hauppauge, NY location. The position is responsible for operating a die cutting line.
Other responsibilities include:
• Operate die cutting machine and inspect product before packaging
• Manage the production of the machine schedule
• Clean the die cutting machine
• Complete production charts and use the scanning system
• Adhere to all company safety policies
• Perform job according to written company standard operating procedures
• Report any product safety or quality concerns to your supervisor
• Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma preferred
• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexible, organized and dedicated in order to get the job done
• Good interpersonal skills to successfully interact with others
