Human Resources Coordinator

Eminence Dickson Health and Rehab
Location: Dickson, Tennessee
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

Eminence Dickson Health and Rehab is seeking an organized, dependable, and professional Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting our employees and facility leadership by managing recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll-related processes, compliance, and other day-to-day Human Resources functions.

The ideal candidate will be approachable, detail-oriented, able to maintain confidentiality, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files.

  • Complete and maintain required new-hire documentation, including employment eligibility and background screening requirements.

  • Assist employees with Workday onboarding, payroll, direct deposit, and other employment-related processes.

  • Review employee timekeeping records and assist with correcting time clock discrepancies before payroll deadlines.

  • Track employee licenses, certifications, background checks, and other required credentials.

  • Monitor required employee education and training completion.

  • Assist with employee relations, coaching, disciplinary documentation, and performance improvement processes.

  • Maintain documentation related to attendance, leave of absence, and employment status changes.

  • Process new hires, transfers, pay changes, status changes, and terminations.

  • Assist department managers with staffing and Human Resources-related needs.

  • Support facility efforts related to regulatory compliance and survey readiness.

  • Prepare HR reports, employee rosters, turnover information, and other requested documentation.

  • Communicate professionally with employees, applicants, department managers, and facility leadership.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and facility information.

  • Ensure HR practices are consistent with company policies and applicable employment requirements.

  • Perform additional Human Resources and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous Human Resources or healthcare administrative experience preferred.

  • Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of employee onboarding, payroll/timekeeping, personnel records, and general HR practices preferred.

  • Experience with Workday, Apploi, or similar HR/recruiting systems is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with facility leadership and department managers.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and general computer systems.
