Job description

SUMMARY: Bilingual - Spanish/English Required. Sells and services new and existing accounts, maintaining and increasing the level of sales and profit margins. Develops new business while achieving exceptional customer service. Must be able to drive and visit customers in person.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides exceptional customer service and sales support to Diaz Foods and its customers in the following aspects:
  • SELLING
    • Promotes a positive image of Diaz Foods; follows the company wide dress code of business casual dress and adheres to company policies and procedures
    • Expedites customer orders
    • Provides customer information including the status of orders, product specifications, pricing and other sales related details
    • Increases sales to current customers and opens and reactivates accounts for perspective and past customers
    • Quotes prices and maintains up to date customer prices
    • Contacts current and prospective customers to sell, explain and promotes Diaz Foods private labels and brands, as well as exclusive Diaz Foods product lines
    • Maximizes profits
  • Customer Service/Support Duties:
    • Provides a consistent, quality level of service to include initiating and follow-up with customers to sell or resolve problems and answer questions
    • Merchandises retail store as needed
    • Resolves customer complaints effectively
    • Provides delivery information and handles special requests with management approval
    • Maintains professional telephone skills
  • Supplemental Functions:
    • Plans and controls activities-work with supervisor in developing sales targets
    • Attends Sales meetings
    • Studies the market, the customers and monitors competitive actions and advises Manager of information retrieved
    • Promotes the positive image of the organization for customer perspective
    • Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change and all requirements are subject to modification

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills
  • Customer Service or Sales experience, or appropriate mix of education and experience
  • Computer Skills
  • Persona car
  • Valid drivers license
  • Valid car Insurance with Minimum state insurance requirements
