We are seeking a Cost Analyst for our First Quality Home Care Products facility located in Salt Lake City, UT. This position will be responsible for supporting all cost accounting duties required within a manufacturing organization supporting the delivery of the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Inputs production data into ERP system and perform associated inventory movements as required.
  • Updates standard raw material costing on a periodic basis to ensure accurate cost system information.
  • Updates BOMs, BOOs and new parts master listings as directed.
  • Coordinates, inputs, and reports physical inventory results and weekly cycle counts.
  • Participates in annual planning/budgeting process - overhead rate development, cycle time standards, etc.
  • Creates monthly manufacturing key indicators package and participate in related analytics.
  • Supports monthly BVA review process.
  • Assists with problem resolution and improvement opportunities.
  • Performs ad hoc analyses as assigned.
  • Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
  • Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
  • Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
  • First Quality team members must follow all First Quality environmental, health and safety requirements as well as applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP/cost accounting software.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting, general accounting, standard costing, and cost analysis concepts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of personnel, both internal and external.
