As a member of our outpatient team, you'll utilize virtual platforms to conduct therapy sessions, thus promoting accessibility and convenience for our clients. • Conduct assessments during initial client meetings to evaluate their mental health condition, utilizing standardized assessment tools and personal interviews.
• Create personalized therapy plans focused on addressing specific mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
• Maintain regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans when necessary, and provide ongoing support.
• Implement therapeutic interventions through both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and trusting environment.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Diamond Grove, you will engage with a wide array of clients experiencing various mental health challenges. Your caseload may include individuals dealing with high-stress environments, family issues, and various forms of trauma, along with those facing specific disorders like eating disorders and substance abuse problems. Your cultural competence and sensitivity will be critical in providing personalized care that respects and understands the unique backgrounds of each client.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a current and valid license as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in the mental health field, specifically in therapeutic settings.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based practices and approaches to therapy, with an emphasis on cultural humility.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other standard software applications.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds.
• Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution within a therapeutic context.
• History of engaging in professional development activities, including workshops and certifications relevant to mental health practices.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
