BERNARD JAMES is a luxury fine jewelry company based in New York City, known for craftsmanship-driven design and attention to detail. The brand focuses on creating distinctive pieces that blend traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics.



Bernard James is looking for an experienced diamond setter / bench jeweler to work on-site during an activation in Soho.

The setter will work live at the bench, demonstrating elements of the jewelry-making process for guests. Work will primarily include tennis-style setting ,with the potential for pavé setting, and other diamond-setting techniques.


Schedule


* September 10: 5:30–8:30 PM (required)

* September 11–15: approximately 1–2 hours per day, with timing flexible within open hours (10-6pm)

* Sunday excluded


Requirements


* Professional diamond-setting experience

* Strong pavé-setting skills

* Comfortable working at a bench in a public-facing environment

* Able to work with a limited on-site bench setup


This is a short-term paid opportunity in SoHo, New York City.


Compensation

$50–$75/hour, with a 2-hour minimum on Saturday 9/12
