MAINTENANCE/ELECTRICIAN

Diamond Plastics Corporation has an immediate opening for a Maintenance/Electrician position. This position is responsible to provide technical / physical support in the area of electrical and mechanical maintenance. Maintain plant equipment and systems in good operations condition in order to insure safe and efficient production utilization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible to provide technical / physical support in the area of electrical and mechanical maintenance at the journeyman level. Maintain plant equipment and systems in good operations condition in order to insure safe and efficient production utilization. This position also contributes to the mentoring and guidance of the level 1 and 2 maintenance mechanic positions. The following are core essential functions of the position:
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or other).
• Interpret and modify ladder logic diagrams and implement changes to improve processes.
• Perform regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on machinery and mechanical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems including motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Provide technical support for electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Collaborate with management and production teams to implement process improvements.
• Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to reduce downtime.
• Document work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities in compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to safety procedures and work within established safety guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years industrial electrician mechanical experience, or 5 years' industrial electrician experience, or military service in a related electrical field, preferred.
SCHEDULE
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call (rotating)
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
• Expected hours: 40 per week
