Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Diamond Hearts, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting patient evaluations to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s unique conditions and treatment goals.
• Instructing patients in therapeutic exercises, ensuring they are utilizing proper techniques to maximize recovery.
• Utilizing hands-on techniques such as massage and manual therapy to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Supporting patients in the utilization of mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and walkers, to ensure safety and independence.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate patient records to track improvements and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Providing education to patients and their families on home exercises and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care, with a willingness to embrace new techniques and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of clinical experience, ideally in an outpatient setting. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment styles will be advantageous in your application.
