Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated Medical Supply Customer Service Representatives to join our Diabetes Admission team. In this role, you will work closely with patients, doctor's offices, and insurance companies to facilitate the setup of new accounts, resolve issues, obtain prior authorizations, manage prescription refills, and ensure the timely delivery of essential diabetic supplies to patients in need. If you are passionate about making a difference and enjoy helping others, we would love to have you on our team!

40 hours week - Mon-Friday 8-5:00pm


Key Responsibilities

- Manage incoming and outgoing calls to assist patients and healthcare providers.

- Create new accounts and maintain accurate member records.

- Resolve issues related to account management and supply delivery.

- Obtain prior authorizations and process prescription refills.

- Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure coverage and compliance.

- Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.

- Utilize multiple computer applications to access and enter data efficiently.


Skills and Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

- Proficient in using computer applications and data entry.

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical supply processes is a plus.

- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is preferred.

Requirements:
  • Are you eager to lean a fast-paced customer service role requiring the ability to handle multiple tasks?
  • Previous experience is helpful using clear and calm communication by phone.
  • Do you have the ability to effectively use computer system and maintain good records?
  • Must be computer literate. Skills testing required.

Required Education

  • High school diploma or GED
