What does a diabetes coach do when working remotely?

A remote Diabetes Coach supports individuals in managing their diabetes through virtual consultations, education, and personalized guidance. They help clients understand their condition, develop effective self-care routines, and make healthy lifestyle changes such as improved nutrition and regular exercise. Remote coaches use video calls, phone check-ins, and digital tools to monitor progress and provide motivation, ensuring ongoing support despite not meeting in person.

To thrive as a Diabetes Coach (Remote), you need a solid understanding of diabetes management, nutrition, and behavior change strategies, often supported by certifications such as CDCES or a background in nursing, dietetics, or health coaching.
