Di Bruno - Bottle Shop Associate

Job Title: Bottle Shop Associate

Department: Operations

Reports To: Store Manager

Job Duties

  • Initiate suggestive selling and sampling of wine and beer products
  • Set up wine and cheese samples
  • Receive and stock wine and beer orders
  • Assist with inventory, processing, monitoring and replenishing merchandise
  • Ensure that all items have signs and are priced correctly
  • Organize and wipe bottles in wine fridge and on shelving display
  • Communicate any customer special requests to management
  • Communicates with coworkers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience and/or training in the specialty food or wine and beer industry
  • Outgoing personality and willingness to learn
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to think critically
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and fellow Associates
  • Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business
  • Fine wine and liquor experience a plus
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
