Overview:
**Mirth Integration Engineer/Developer**We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Mirth Integration Engineer/Developer, to support our Competitive billion DOD Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) program in Vienna, VA, providing the modernization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities for the Department of Defense. Leidos, along with core partners Cerner, Accenture, and Henry Schein, will support the DHMSM Program Executive Office (PEO) and the Defense Health Agency in the global deployment of our proposed EHR system that will deliver improved system capability to the DoD whenever and wherever healthcare is required. This is one of the most exciting, cutting-edge programs that you can be a part of with Team Leidos and will improve the quality of healthcare for some 10 million military personnel and their families.**Primary Responsibilities:**The Mirth Developer will participate in the development of technical implementations of HIE (Health Information Exchange) using Mirth tool and support customer facing applications. The Mirth Developer will work in an integrated team between government and across vendors to enable structured data exchanges in the Operational Medicine deployed environment. The Mirth Developer will create automated data workflow exchanges using HL7, FHIR, RestFul Services, and JSON formatted data with external systems and applications
- BS in computer science, system analysis, or a related study, and 9 years of directly related work experience.- US Citizen with active ADP IT-II Public Trust Clearance based on the minimum of a Tier 3 investigation. This will be escalated to a Tier 5 clearance. Federal Government requirement.- 3+ years of leading technology solution for customer facing applications.- Development experience on Mirth • Excellent knowledge of HL7, FHIR, JSON- 3+ years of experience in designing and architecting HIE (Health Information Exchange), and customer facing applications and standard data exchange, including Hl7.- Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, RestFul service, and development of complex message integration workflows.
