Position Overview:
We are currently building our pool of compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) who value personal growth, professional development, and delivering exceptional, client-centered care. Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude, adaptability to clients’ needs, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Support client independence while ensuring safety and well-being
  • Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and document as required 
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff

All Shifts Available – Hourly Caregivers Needed
  • Hourly Care: Starting at $19.50/hour
  • Flexible Schedules: Full-time, part-time, or per diem (subject to shift availability)

Minimum Requirements:
  • Licensure: Must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing.
  • Physical Ability: Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of this position.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
  • References: Must provide at least two verifiable professional references.
  • Work History: Must provide verifiable employment history for the past 12 months.
  • Background Check: Must successfully pass a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey).
  • Health Requirements: Must provide proof of the following:
    • Valid physical examination within the last year
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
    • Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
