Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT registry in Mammography and experience in 3D, screening, and diagnostic mammograms.

Details
  • 13-week assignment in the Mammography department
  • Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Performs 3D, screening, and diagnostic mammograms
  • Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
  • ARRT registry in Mammography required
  • BLS certification required
  • VA BOM license required if applicable, and must be active/in hand or show proof of application at time of consideration
  • Experience with 3D, screening, and diagnostic mammograms required
  • DEXA experience preferred
Additional Information
  • Facility is smoke and nicotine free
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 - March 31), with exemptions considered per CMS guidelines
  • COVID-19 vaccination or qualified exemption required, in compliance with CMS guidelines
  • Floating, if required, will be in rotation with client staff according to facility policy and Joint Commission standards
  • Up to 7 hours of non-billable orientation modules required, completed during onboarding
  • Some holiday coverage expected, with RTO subject to manager approval and limited during the assignment
  • Previous staff members of the facility must wait one year before returning as a traveler
