Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certification for a 13-week acute care assignment.

Details
  • Acute care hospital setting in the Mammography department
  • One Mammography room and one DEXA room
  • Performs screening mammography only (no diagnostic exams) and DEXA scans
  • Average of 15 exams per day
  • Uses Hologic equipment
  • Charts in EPIC EMR with McKesson PACS
  • Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • No floating to other departments required
  • No weekend, holiday, or call/standby requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications required
  • License required if applicable
  • Must be able to perform screening mammography and DEXA exams
  • Driver's license copy required at time of submission
Additional Information
  • On-site department-specific orientation provided
  • No in-house radiologist coverage 24/7
  • Does not use Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs)
  • Dress code includes black pants with a solid color scrub top of any color
