Role: Platform Engineer

Location: Sunrise, FL (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

✅ Must-Have Qualifications:

✔ 8–12 years of overall IT experience with 8+ years of Platform Engineering / DevOps experience

✔ Strong expertise in Python for platform automation, API development, scripting, and engineering tooling

✔ Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster administration, networking, RBAC, storage, security, Helm, and troubleshooting

✔ Proven experience implementing GitOps using Argo CD and/or FluxCD for automated infrastructure and application deployments

✔ Strong experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and release automation

✔ Experience building and managing Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and enhancing Developer Experience (DevEx) using Backstage, self-service portals, reusable templates, and developer automation

✔ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures

✔ Strong knowledge of observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/OpenSearch, and distributed tracing solutions

✔ Experience implementing DevSecOps best practices, Kubernetes security, secrets management, and Policy-as-Code using OPA or Kyverno
