As a key contributor to the medication fulfillment team, you will ensure the seamless processing and distribution of prescriptions. Your day-to-day efforts will directly support patient access to critical medications and contribute to the overall efficiency of healthcare operations. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with pharmacists and engage with patients and physicians, ensuring every prescription is handled with care and precision.

What You'll Do

  • Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting outreach to members and physicians.
  • Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member concerns.
  • Escalate prescription-related questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or guidance on processing.
  • Assist with inbound and/or outbound calls to patients or physicians, providing essential support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.

Eligibility and Core Requirements

To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of foundational education, practical experience, and essential certifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation.
  • Have a valid and current Pharmacy Technician's or Pharmacy Technician Trainee's license for the State of Texas.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position.
  • Be able to work the following schedule: Monday - Friday and be flexible to work an 8-hour shift from 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
