Job description

Position Title: DevOps Engineer (Senior)
Location: Redstone Arsenal
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, automation, and sustainment of mission-critical systems in a secure environment. This role focuses on containerized deployments, CI/CD pipeline development, and automation across Windows and Linux platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub
  • Develop and support containerized deployments across enterprise environments
  • Automate application and infrastructure deployments across Windows and Linux systems
  • Support and optimize container orchestration platforms; Kubernetes experience preferred
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency
  • Troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues
  • Document DevOps processes, standards, and best practices

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 8 years of DevOps, systems engineering, or related experience
  • Hands-on experience with container deployment technologies
  • Strong experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub
  • Experience automating deployments across Windows and Linux environments
  • Active Top Secret security clearance (required at time of hire)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience supporting DoD or federal programs
  • Familiarity with secure or classified development environments
