RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps/Mobile Release Engineer in Tempe, AZ.
Key Tasks:
* Own mobile app build pipelines for UAT and production across iOS and Android
* Own .NET app build pipelines for UAT and production across assigned applications
* Own Infrastructure as Code Bicep for UAT and production across assigned applications
* Manage App Store Connect (Apple) and Google Play Console (Google), including provisioning profiles, certificates, and store submissions
* Support and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines alongside the existing DevOps team, helping with builds, deployments, and pipeline improvements
* Own versioning and release coordination across both mobile and web/cloud environments
* Build and maintain build automation scripts and tooling to reduce manual release work across the team
* Assist with environment provisioning and configuration as directed by the Architecture and Platform Engineering teams
* Maintain release documentation, versioning history, and rollback procedures across all platforms
* Troubleshoot build, pipeline, and submission issues as they arise
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3 to 6 years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, or build/CI-CD engineering
* Must have experience with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep
* Hands-on experience with App Store Connect and Google Play Console, including provisioning, certificates, and submission processes
* Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, or comparable CI/CD tooling
* Experience with mobile CI/CD automation (e.g. Fastlane, App Center)
* Scripting ability for build automation (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
* Strong attention to detail across multiple concurrent release pipelines
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
* Experience supporting government or regulated app/platform releases
* Familiarity with mobile app compliance requirements (accessibility, data privacy)
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days:
* Full audit of current App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and Azure DevOps pipeline configurations
* First mobile build successfully taken through UAT to production release
* Actively contributing to at least one Azure DevOps pipeline improvement alongside the DevOps team
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
