WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Support Project Managers in the execution and delivery of projects through coordination of personnel, resources, and project activities.

• Assist with the development and maintenance of project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and reporting tools.

• Prepare and distribute project documentation including meeting minutes, action item logs, procurement trackers, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and status reports.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Accounting, and other departments to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

• Assist in obtaining quotations, preparing bid packages, evaluating proposals, and coordinating procurement activities.

• Track equipment, material, and subcontractor deliveries to support project schedules and field requirements.

• Participate in customer, vendor, subcontractor, and internal project meetings and document key decisions and action items.

• Support contract administration activities, including tracking scope changes, maintaining change order logs, and assisting with customer notifications.

• Monitor project costs and commitments and assist with monthly budget reviews and forecasting activities.

• Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports for management and customers.

• Assist with project startup, commissioning, punch list management, and project closeout activities.

• Support warranty issue documentation and resolution efforts as directed by the Project Manager.

• Maintain project records and ensure proper document management practices are followed.

• Promote safe work practices and help ensure project activities are completed in accordance with contract requirements, project specifications, company procedures, and safety standards.

• Escalate project risks, schedule concerns, budget issues, and resource constraints to the Project Manager in a timely manner.

• Develop an understanding of ICM project management processes, tools, and best practices in preparation for advancement into a Project Manager role.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1–3 years of project coordination, project engineering, project controls, construction management, internship, co-op, or related experience preferred.
  • Industrial construction, renewable energy, ethanol, manufacturing, or field project experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools preferred.
  • AutoCAD or engineering drawing exposure is helpful, but a willingness to learn is most important.
