The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing delivery leadership and execution support to multiple shared services teams and game teams across our studios. The ideal candidate is technically fluent, comfortable operating across multiple stakeholders, and excels at bringing structure, visibility, and predictability to projects that span teams, disciplines, and time zones. The ideal candidate understands game development pipelines, can speak the language of engineers and technical leads, and brings structure, predictability, and risk management to fast-moving creative environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex projects (e.g., service upgrades, tooling, integrations, live ops initiatives).
  • Define project scope, milestones, dependencies, and delivery plans across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Drive execution against schedules while balancing quality, technical debt, and production realities.
  • Define standardized project management processes, tools, workflows.
  • Mentor other project managers

Cross-Team Project Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate initiatives that support multiple game teams and shared services teams.
  • Own integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
  • Enable alignment and execution without direct line management authority over delivery teams.

Technical Enablement & Partnership

  • Translate technical strategies and architectural decisions into clear execution plans, timelines, and risks.
  • Ensure teams have visibility into delivery progress, impacts, and adoption timelines.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to translate designs into executable project plans.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Process & Delivery Governance

  • Establish and maintain consistent project management practices across shared services initiatives.
  • Facilitate planning, execution, and retrospectives for cross-team efforts with a focus on delivery outcomes.
  • Track progress and delivery metrics, manage dependencies and risks; proactively escalate and resolve blockers.
  • Implement and continuously improve methodologies and processes.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Act as a primary point of coordination between shared services teams and supported game teams.
  • Provide clear, concise status reporting to studio leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Manage expectations and trade-offs across competing priorities and timelines.
  • Communicate status, risks, and trade-offs clearly to studio leadership and stakeholders.
  • Align project priorities with product, publishing, and business objectives.
  • Support go-to-market timelines, certification, and launch readiness.

Risk, Dependency & Change Management

  • Identify, understand, and manage technical, operational, and resourcing risks that may impact teams.
  • Drive mitigation plans and manage changes while minimizing disruption.
  • Support release coordination, rollout planning, and adoption of shared services and tools.
  • Manage change requests while protecting team focus and delivery commitments.
  • Ensure lessons learned are captured and applied.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of senior project or program management experience in technical or software-driven organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or CSM certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-team, shared-services initiatives.
  • Experience with budget planning, ROI analysis
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, infrastructure, and technical delivery models.
  • High degree of initiative, self-starter, looks for opportunities to make improvements
  • Experience working in data analytics a plus
  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate without direct ownership of delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with high interdependency.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage deeply with technical teams.
  • Ability to pivot quickly when priorities shift, demonstrating both adaptability and agility.
  • Excellent and effective problem solving and time management skills.
  • Creative, self-driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Administrative knowledge and experience of Jira and Confluence with hands on experience in setting up projects, dashboards, reporting capabilities, and custom JQL filters.
  • Solid Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., functions, formulas, PivotTables, data validation, charts)
  • Game Industry experience and a passion for games especially MMOs
  • Comfortable reviewing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and release plans.
  • Experience working in a centralized/shared services organization
