What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a DevOps intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as a DevOps Intern, you need a basic understanding of software development, system administration, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash, often supported by coursework or relevant projects. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker) is typically expected. As a DevOps Intern, you can expect to work on a variety of hands-on projects that support the development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications.
