Thomson Reuters Holdings Inc. / Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer:

Design, develop, and troubleshoot the software for Thomson Reuters' software applications.

About the Role:
In this role as a Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Develop and implement the application infrastructure using computer science principles and concepts;

  • Write automation scripts to automate manual tasks; use IaC code to develop the AWS infrastructure;

  • Monitor the applications to ensure they adhere to the organization's security best practices;

  • Design, develop, work with, and troubleshoot the AWS cloud service to support the application platform;

  • Push the developed code in the Git repository; review peers' code on a day-to-day basis to maintain the consistency of the code;

  • Troubleshoot issues to unblock the development team's work, including fixing pipeline issues;

  • Communicate technical requirements for task accomplishment.

May telecommute from any US location.

About You:
You're fit for the role of Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer if your background includes:

  • A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field followed by 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a software development-related occupation.

    Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:

  • 3 years of experience with DevOps;

  • 3 years of experience with AWS cloud platform;

  • 3 years of software development experience using Python or other systems automation language;

  • 3 years of experience with AWS services, including RDS, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch;

  • 3 years of experience supporting application environment on AWS Cloud;

  • 3 years of experience with code versioning tools, including Git;

  • 2 years of experience with security best practices to maintain ongoing compliance with company requirements;

  • 1 year of experience articulating complex ideas to technical audiences.
