Job Description

Trigyn's direct client has a contract assignment for DevOps Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA.
Description:
Provides application software development services or technical support in situations of moderate complexity. May also be participate and be responsible for detailed design. Has thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle. May be involved and be responsible for the creation of the test Plan and test Data. Writes new programs of moderate complexity and scope, working with basic application system designs and specifications, utilizing client's standard development methodology, procedures and techniques. Designs and codes programs, and creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and revise programs. Prepares the final and detailed versions of system modification requirements, ensures turnovers are done on time and correctly. Interfaces with architects to design, code, test and implement application programs. Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems. Proposes innovative, creative technology solutions. Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives. Provides production support when needed
Familiarity with Agile project methodology is a big plus
Competencies include:
Deep understanding of the software development life cycle
Strong analytical skills, excellent problem solver and self-starter
Able to articulate complex solutions through technical discussions
Understanding of SharePoint development in a power user capacity
Can work collaboratively to perform complex troubleshooting, root-cause analyses, and solution development
Experience in working with business analysts, project managers and technical architects in multiple geographical areas
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of the Agile methodology for Software Development (prefer Scrum) a plus
